    NYC based Park Importing Company began producing costume jewelry under the “Vogue” label in 1936 and produced high quality pieces until 1977. The company owners, founders and the main designers were Harold Shapiro and his partners Jack Gilbert and George Grant.
    Harold Shapiro left the company and with his son Bernard founded Les Bernard, Inc. in 1963.
